Everett is in an exciting phase we need to take action on. New businesses like APEX Everett, Marcel, Apollo Exos and Tacos & Beer are breathing fresh energy into our downtown. But there’s one crucial thing we all need to keep moving forward: Safety. If our residents and visitors don’t feel safe, we can’t continue to grow and thrive. That’s why, more than ever, it’s time for strong leadership that can help us align around creating a safer, thriving community.
PUBLIC SAFETY
People in Everett feel less safe, and we need a new council member who will address it and take action! I will advocate for investing in our police department, ensuring we have enough officers to maintain safety and respond to calls in a timely manner. I support policies such as buffer zone enhancements protecting our residents and visitors, enforcement enhancements and banning public drug use in our downtown and neighborhoods.
RESTORING CIVILITY IN OUR CITY COUNCIL
There’s enough craziness in Washington D.C. We’re better than that here. Over the last few years, our council meetings have devolved to name-calling and personal attacks. That must end today. I’ll bring professionalism to the council and treat everyone with respect and dignity.
